Action Plan
 
The Nefeli Rooms, taking into account the instructions of the Ministry of Tourism for the implementation of new health protocols in tourist accommodation in the country in view of their reopening in the context of the new reality created by COVID-19 disease, is compiling a Protocol.
 
The Protocol includes the development of an Action Plan and the development of a Suspected Case Management Plan within the Group's accommodation.
 
The aim of the Action Plan is to prevent the occurrence and effective management of suspicious cases in order to limit the expansion of staff and guests, always in accordance with the current guidelines of the National Public Health Organization. The Action Plan complies with the recommendations of EODY and will be revised according to the developments.
 
The aim of the accommodation with the Action Plan and the Suspected Case Management Plan is on the one hand to protect the staff and its guests and on the other hand to guide its staff to take the necessary measures to prevent and protect against COVID-19 disease.
 
Personal Hygiene Measures & Individual Protection Means
 
The management of the accommodation takes measures for the implementation of good personal hygiene practices (both by the employees and by third parties) in the workplace and supervises their continuous implementation.
 
Informs and encourages staff and third parties to comply with good personal and respiratory hygiene practices (hand washing - cleaning, nose and mouth covering during coughing or sneezing, etc.).
 
It provides adequate hand sanitizers for entrances and exits and in the common areas of the accommodation (antiseptic solutions in liquid form), protective masks and gloves for employees, emphasizes the cases where employees come in contact with the general public.
 
It supplies the staff with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (masks, gloves, etc.), in accordance with the special instructions / directions of EODY, the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health and decisions of competent bodies.
 
Supervises the adequacy of stocks in MAP.
 
It trains the staff for the safe use of MAP based on the instructions of EODY and supervises their proper use.
 
Supervises the attendance of third parties (e.g. customers, associates, distributors, etc.) in the area of ​​the accommodation and informs them in order to avoid overcrowding, to ensure the observance of the required distances and to use the MAP.
It forms a program of gradual, rolling attendance and respectively departure of employees in order to avoid congestion and to ensure the observance of the required distances.
 
It constantly informs the staff, in any convenient way, such as e.g. oral information, posting announcements or information / reminder signs for personal hygiene and preventive measures in all areas, online, etc.
 
It trains the required actions of the employees themselves in case of suspicious symptoms, such as the immediate notification of the health officer and the management for the prevention of COVID-19 dispersal and the prescribed isolation.
 
Informs and trains staff on specific cleaning instructions in the event of an accident. Specifically: a) the person remains in his room with the door closed, b) he is immediately given a simple surgical mask to protect him and tissues, c) if there is a companion who wishes to stay close to him, a simple surgical mask is given and a recommendation is made to wash them. his hands meticulously after each contact with the suspicious case and not touching his face, d) it is forbidden for staff members to enter the room and only one member of the staff deals with the client's requests, e) the used personal protective equipment is discarded in a closed bucket, f) after the disposal of the protective equipment, meticulous hand washing follows.
 
Accommodation Archive & Event Book
 
For the purposes of public health protection, the accommodation management keeps a record of staff members and all persons staying at the hotel (name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, contact details such as address, telephone, email), so that it becomes possible communication with close contacts of any COVID-19 impact, which may be identified afterwards.
 
There is a provision for safety and security under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all visitors and staff are informed that a file is kept for reasons of public health protection.
 
There is also a recording and updating of the COVID-19 Incident Book in the reception.
 
Employees
 
Each member of the cover-up staff strictly adheres to the basic protection measures against COVID-19. In particular, employees must practice good personal and respiratory hygiene practices:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 40 seconds, definitely before and after contact with money or customer items, before meals, before and after work breaks, after a visit to the toilet and careful hand drying with disposable paper towels and dumping them in the bins. Reception Service
 
The staff takes the necessary hygiene measures, keeps a distance of at least 1.5 meters from the customers and follows the rules of hygiene.

The hotel health officer communicates with the local Health Center / Hospital which evaluates the incident. If deemed necessary, a COVID-19 test is performed and if it is positive, EODY is immediately informed about the declaration of the case and instructions are given to deal with it.
 
It is recommended in the suspicious case to remain in his room with the door of the room closed.
 
In a patient who has symptoms of a respiratory infection (cough, sneezing, runny nose), a simple surgical mask and tissues are given immediately.
 
If there is a companion of the patient, who wishes to stay close to him to care for him, he is given a simple surgical mask and is advised to wash his hands every time he comes in contact with the patient's secretions and certainly before the attendant touches his face. of either eating or drinking.
 
Avoid entering the patient's room if there is no significant reason. If necessary, a member of the hotel staff deals exclusively with a suspected case.
 
Used protective equipment is discarded in a covered trash can and is not reused.
